Office chairs are not simply chairs to support one in a seated position. They are specifically designed to promote perfect position while providing excellent comfort for you while you are spending time in your office. Now they come in a wide array of styles, each of which is made for a particular function in a workplace. It is therefore, advisable to buy chairs that support the neck, head, shoulders and back. If you're working for long hours, there are quite a few types of chairs that you can get in an office environment.
These are the most common chairs in offices. Task chairs are very basic in design, and have wheels at the base. The swivel (转椅座架) allows the chair to turn in all directions. These are a good option in offices where they have to be used by a number of people. You can easily adjust the height of the chair to match the comfort level and convenience of different people. This is what makes these chairs highly popular in the office environment, and the fact that they are reasonably cheaper only adds to their appeal.
Executive chairs can also swivel, and have wheels attached to the base. However, they have a higher backrest with the extra padding (衬垫) on the seat. Another feature is the presence of padding on the armrest. Also, these chairs allow you to adjust the angle of the backrest according to your comfort. The additional featuremakes the executive chair more expensive than the other types. These chairs are used in an environment where only top executives work.
Guest chairs are meant for guests and visitors who come to the office for a short period. Guest chairs offer no flexibility and do not come with adjustable features. Also, these chairs are not mobile, as they do not have wheels attached to the base. Also known as reception chairs, they are made of hard plastic, and are available in a host of colors and fashionable designs.
Also known as boardroom chairs, conference chairs are meant for use in conference rooms during meetings. Even though these chairs are not meant to be sat in for long hours, they have to be comfortable for long meetings sometimes. Conference chairs are designed to offer comfort, but lack the mobility and adjustment settings.
Stacking (堆起来) chairs can be easily stacked on top of one another, which makes it easier to store these chairs in a smaller space. These chairs are usually made of hard plastic. They come in a host of attractive colors and are really flexible, for they can be used for multiple purposes. In an office environment, they are specifically used in the cafeteria or canteen. These chairs do not have wheels, but are fairly mobile due to their light weight.
With the growing number of desk jobs, sitting in an office for long hours has become inevitable, and therefore a right chair in the workplace can make a person love his/her workstation, which will automatically lead to increased productivity and profits.

Habits, whether good or bad, are gradually formed. When a person does a certain thing again, he is driven by some unseen force to do the same thing repeatedly, then a habit is formed. Once a habit is formed, it is difficult, and sometimes impossible, to get rid of. It is therefore very important that we should pay great attention to the formation of habits. Children often form bad habits, some of which remain with them as long as they live. Older persons also form bad habits lasting as long as they live, and sometimes become ruined by them.
There are other habits which, when formed in early life, are of great help. Many successful men say that much of their success has something to do with certain habits in early life, such as early rising, honesty and so on.
Among the habits which children should not form are laziness, lying, stealing and so on. These are all easily formed habits. Unfortunately older persons often form habits which could have been avoided .
We should keep away from all these bad habits, and try to form such habits as will be good for ourselves and others.
